Bobby Labonte has five top-five finishes, 11 top-10 finishes, one pole (9/17/00 race) and has led 72 laps in 36 starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His average start is 16.139 and his average finish is 16.899.

The 2000 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion's best finish is second-place (9/17/00 race) with Joe Gibbs Racing. Since aligning with JTG Daugherty Racing, his best finish with the team is seventh-place (7/17/11).

New Hampshire Motor Speedway gets better with age: "The New Hampshire Motor Speedway race track has changed over the years," Labonte said. "It has aged a lot and that continues to be the best thing for racing. With cracks in the track and being abrasive the last couple of years have been better than normal."

Labonte favors Loudon: "I always look forward to racing in Loudon (N.H.)," Labonte said. "We had an opportunity to participate in a tire test there last year and got to take a closer look at the track. It's a place I really enjoy going to on the schedule."

Different engine package: "This weekend Triad (Racing Technologies) has a different engine package than the last time and we're looking forward to that," Labonte said. "We have ran well at Loudon in the past and have a top-10 finish there a couple years ago. We hope we can learn some things and perform better this time around."

Stroke of luck: "I'm glad to be going into this weekend with a fresh start," Labonte said. "We had a tough time at Sonoma Raceway and we were not able to run a lap and then last weekend we were superspeedway racing at Daytona International Speedway and sustained damage to our car that hurt our track position. This should be a better weekend for us. We've got Kingsford on our Toyota Camry and they are one of our biggest supporters. We want to do well every week for our sponsors and manufacturer."

Traveling to London to see son and catch a peek at Tour de France: "I'm heading to London, England after the race on Sunday," Labonte said. "My son Tyler is finishing up his internship with a law firm over there. We are going to hang out and do some stuff.

"One of the cool things we are doing is going to the Tour de France the last couple of days," continued Labonte. "It's going to be a lot of fun. I know it's going to be a blast. My next trip over I'm going to take my daughter Madison. I'm pretty excited to go."

Last weekend was a hot one in Daytona Beach, Florida during the Coke Zero 400, so it is probably no surprise that the campground with the huge inflatable water slide was the first thing our JTG Daugherty Racing Tailgate Patrol noticed about John DeStefano’s tailgate area. It seemed to be one of the most popular spots in the infield for both adults and kids, which became even more evident when we elected John and his family as our Tailgaters Of The Week.

DeStefano has been devoted to the same camping spot right in the center of Turns 3 and 4 in the Daytona International Speedway infield for six years.

“I first came with a friend of mine (who is still in that camp spot right next to us every February and July) in 2007,” said DeStefano. “I was offered this spot that my family and I are in now by another camper (who is still in the spot on the other side of ours) at the end of that first weekend. We have been here with them ever since.”

DeStefano's favorite aspect of his twice a year trip to Daytona International Speedway is the relationships he has formed with fellow campers.

“Whatever you need or want - whether it is a friend to talk to, someone to walk the infield with, a colander for your spaghetti, or some Kingsford Charcoal for your grill - it's always here. The comradery and friendship in this infield is unprecedented.”

Do you have what it takes to be the “TAILGATER OF THE WEEK”?

Are you the ultimate “Grillmaster” at the race track?

Do you want to win an all expense paid trip and be the VIP guest of JTG Daugherty Racing at the big race in Las Vegas in 2014?

If you answered yes, then get out to the track and let us know where you are tailgating! Each race weekend during the Sprint Cup season JTG Daugherty Racing will be scouting the infields and campgrounds, looking for the best tailgaters at the track. The best, most enthusiastic tailgaters each race weekend will win a custom prize pack and become eligible for our “TAILGATER OF THE YEAR” competition.

You can let us know where you are tailgating by tweeting us your location. Throughout the weekend, leading up to the green flag, our team members, owners and maybe even Bobby Labonte himself will be patrolling the infield and campsites looking for the best tailgaters. So, fire up your grills with Kingsford® Charcoal, heat up a can of Bush’s® Grillin’ Beans and clean up your messes with Clorox® and Scott® Brand Products!
