Track: Sonoma Raceway
Event: Toyota/Save Mart 350
Date: Sunday, June 23
Finish: 43rd
Start: 20th

Mechanical problems plagued Bobby Labonte and the No. 47 Kingsford Toyota Camry at Sonoma Raceway Sunday afternoon before the green flag dropped on the Toyota/Save Mart 350. Bobby Labonte was credited with 43rd-place finish (engine).

There were 10 lead changes among eight drivers with Martin Truex Jr. winning the Toyota/Save Mart 350. There were seven caution flags for 19 laps.

"The radiator oil cooler blew up and we had to come behind the wall," Bobby Labonte said. "We thought we fixed it in the garage, but something happened with the oil pressure in the motor and our day ended before we got started."

"We had good practices and felt like we were going to have a strong road course performance at Sonoma Raceway, but our engine blew up at the start of the race," crew chief Brian Burns said. "It's unfortunate. Unfortunately, these kinds of things happen."
