I grew up in racing helping my buddy at my home track, Talladega short track. The superspeedway is half a mile away, so I always loved NASCAR. I joined the military first and served for eight years before I got out and decided to go for my dream. I started out at Red Horse Racing and then worked for Hendrick Motorsports, Michael Waltrip Racing, and Richard Childress Racing. The toughest part about the job is being away from your family. The toughest part about a pit stop is when stuff goes crazy. I never jacked a racecar and in Las Vegas, we did tire to the front and the Jackman lift the car and took the tire to the wall, and I looked back and the car was still jacked up. I had to drop the jack and do the rest of the stop.
