BOBBY LABONTE, NO. 47 KINGSFORD CHARCOAL TOYOTA CAMRY
CROSSES FINISH LINE IN 30TH-PLACE
Track: Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Event: Kobalt Tools 400
Date: Sunday, March 10, 2013
Las Vegas Synopsis:
It was a challenging day for Bobby Labonte and his JTG Daugherty Racing team. They tried to overcome a vibration at lap 47 by pitting for four tires under green, which placed the car two laps down. Also, Labonte had his hands full with a wicked loose No. 47 Kingsford Toyota Camry that snapped out from underneath him at lap 195. He finished in 30th-place. The 2000 champion is currently 24th in the points standings, 66 points behind leader Jimmie Johnson.

JTG Daugherty Racing Las Vegas Quotes:
"It was a tough day for us," driver Bobby Labonte said. "We had a vibration, which we had to address. It forced us to pit under green for the pit crew to change all four tires and we lost a couple laps. During the majority of the race, the Kingsford Toyota was just way too loose and we couldn't get a handle on it. It's unfortunate. We'll keep working hard. We're now turning our focus to Bristol Motor Speedway this week. It's a track I love and a place where we do well. I'm looking forward to it."
"We just missed the balance on the racecar today," competition director Bobby Hutchens said. "The No. 47 Kingsford Toyota Camry was way too loose from the start and we never really got it tightened up for Bobby. I think he was probably worse in traffic. At the end of the day, we just missed the setup. We have to do a better job. It started on Thursday with us missing a lot of practice time with the brake issues we had. Unfortunately, we just came up short with a bad finish today.

Tailgater of the Week:
Do you have what it takes to be the “TAILGATER OF THE WEEK”?
Congratulations to the Tailgater of the Week Jeanine Brinkerhoff from Garden Valley, Idaho.
She was using a Dutch oven with Kingsford Charcoal on top when the JTG Daugherty Racing Tailgate Patrol Team rode by her campsite located at spot number 3085 at Las Vegas Boulevard. Also, she had several of our brands, such as, Kingsford Charcoal, Kingsford Charcoal Lighter Fluid and BUSH's Beans.
"We can't do it without Kingsford Charcoal," said Brinkerhoff, who was using a table made by her brother-in-law Bob Cooney to help her with cooking. "We go through bags and bags of charcoal cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner each day at Las Vegas Motor Speedway."
The Brinkerhoffs have been watching NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for a decade and camping for four of those years. They are looking forward to coming back next season.
