Bio: Wayne is originally from the Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin area and also spent about 10 years in Portland, Oregon before moving to the heart of NASCAR country in 1999. He quickly found work in the Nationwide Series in 2000 and experienced his first victory in 2001.
From 2003-2008 Wayne worked for Hendrick Motorsports as the Pit Crew Coach for the #5 team as well as the #0 HAAS Sprint Cup team. During his tenure he won a Busch Series (Nationwide) Championship and helped his teams earn nine race wins.
In 2009 Wayne was with the #09 Sprint Cup team and Brad Keselowski as they won a thrilling race at Talladega and finished the season with Kevin Harvick Inc as their Pit Crew Coach. In all, Wayne has visited victory lane 32 times splitting time between all three of NASCAR’s top series.
When Wayne is not at the race track he spends time riding and racing his mountain bike in the Charlotte area.
