Name: Chuck Efaw
Pit Crew Position: Rear Tire Changer
Birth Date: 9/22/1978
Hometown: Big Prairie, OH
Hobbies: Working at his various businesses and spending time with his wife, four kids, and their chocolate Labrador.

Chuck Efaw is a jack of all trades. The Big Prairie, Ohio-native is not only a 13 year veteran on pit road, but also a successful businessman.  Efaw grew up watching his father race in his home state and soon found his own seat in a Dirt Late Model with a full-time ride.

Following his time behind the wheel, Efaw made the move to North Carolina and pursued a career on pit road. His first opportunity came in 2001 with DF2 Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Since that time, he has worked for various teams, such as, Hendrick Motorsports, Michael Waltrip Racing, Team Penske, and many others.

Outside the track, Efaw owns and operates three different companies: a vinyl graphics business, a tool repair company that builds most pit guns for NASCAR race teams, and is part-owner of Xcalibur Pit School (where they train future pit crew member, help them find careers and host corporate and fan events).

Efaw hopes his first year with JTG Daugherty Racing will be a “Cinderella season” and the team finds victory lane with AJ Allmendinger
